As the filming dates loomed closer and closer, Andrew was making great efforts to find us a cinematographer. After much consideration, and an offer from a friend, I decided to "hire" Nate Ross, a fellow filmmaker, to act as my director of photography.
We also hired John Pope, the DP at Stonekap Productions, to help us as a cinematography consultant.
John experiments with the lighting
and tries to set up the perfect show
to help me fulfill my vision.
John teaches Nate and I about lighting and camera operation.
Nate had a great eye to help make the film visually innovative.
